Purple Martins at Grass Island, Niagara River September 4, 2020. Grass Island is a place we are working to protect, located on Grand Island at the Buckhorn Island State Park. These birds are preparing for migration to South America and the Amazon Basin, where they will winter. They will revisit our region for breeding come spring 2021! Birds connect our world!
