Children's Poster Art Contest
Children of all ages are invited to participate in the Birds on the Niagara celebration by submitting original poster artwork of a highlighted local bird species listed HERE.
Artwork will be on window display for public enjoyment and voting at
Tifft Nature Preserve

until March 1, 2021.
Winners will be contacted by March 1, 2021 and their artwork will be shared on social media.
Poster Art Design
Original artwork must be presented on letter or legal sized paper using 2-dimensional medium: colored pencil, crayon, paint, pastel, marker, and /or collage. Art subject MUST BE one of the specific Niagara Corridor bird species listed HERE.
Art may include the bird in any pose with or without a background. The bird must be labeled in large letters with the species name on the front, plus ONE educational fact typed or written about the species. On the poster back, please include the artist's name, age, and the guardian's name, phone number, and email.
Poster Art Submission
Artwork is to be dropped off at Darling Environmental Education Center at Tifft Nature Preserve between January 30, and February 7 10:00am-4:00pm, or mailed directly to Tifft Nature Preserve, postmarked no later than February 7.
Limit of one entry per child.
By submitting and entry, permission is hereby granted for the entry to be posted on the Birds of Niagara website, and other affiliated websites including FACEBOOK, and social media platforms
